I'm Lena, a fine art photographer specializing in pregnancy and motherhood.
What I lacked back then is now at the heart of my work.
I’ve been pregnant twice myself and never had those moments professionally documented.
Not out of indifference, but for a very simple reason: the kind of maternity photography I saw back then didn’t appeal to me at all. Much of it struck me as clichéd, interchangeable, and stylistically far removed from what I consider true aesthetics.
What I had hoped for wasn't available to me in that form.
Perhaps that is precisely what inspired my work today: the desire to portray pregnancy differently. Not trivialized, not overdone, not staged in a tasteless way, but clear, artistic, and with an aesthetic sensibility that truly does justice to this phase.
My Philosophy
A New Approach to Pregnancy.
For me, pregnancy isn’t just a footnote. Nor is it a “beautiful moment” that you capture on the side.
It is a phase marked by immense presence, change, and significance and that is exactly how it should be portrayed.
When I started photographing maternity shoots in an editorial style over seven years ago, this visual style was still virtually nonexistent on the German market.
Today, it is precisely this blend of fine art, fashion aesthetics, and motherhood that lies at the heart of my work.
Drawing on my experience in the fashion industry and my passion for visual design, I create visual worlds that feel timeless yet bear a distinct signature.

My Studio
My studio is located in Osnabrück Westerberg—a green, quiet, yet central neighborhood. It’s a bright, warm space, furnished with style and an attention to detail that you can feel before you even see it.
When you arrive, everything will already be ready for you. A soft bathrobe, candles, flowers, your favorite drink. Music to set the mood.
A private dressing room and a luxurious bathroom give you the space to truly unwind. The heated private pool—exclusively for you—is where we take our underwater photos.
And when it comes to photography, the studio has everything you could possibly need: state-of-the-art lighting equipment from Profoto and Nanlite, a wide selection of backdrops, and everything required to create exceptional portraits.
Every detail has been carefully thought out—so you don't have to worry about a thing.
