I photograph pregnancy not as a condition, but as a transformation. Not as a record, but as a celebration.
I am fascinated not only by the visible changes in the body, but also by the aura that emerges when a woman knows she is experiencing something extraordinary. This blend of strength, femininity, pride, anticipation, and a beauty all her own is unique—and it is precisely this energy that I capture.
The Experience
A maternity photo shoot at Lena Schneider Studio is no ordinary photo session. It is a curated experience: exclusive, personal, and with an uncompromising commitment to quality.
You’ll choose from an exclusive couture wardrobe featuring flowing fabrics, flattering silhouettes, and carefully selected accessories. Upon request, an experienced stylist will pamper you with professional hair and makeup styling. Every scene is carefully prepared, every light precisely positioned, and every pose guided with calm, sensitivity, and a clear aesthetic vision.
I deliberately schedule generous time slots and work with only a small number of clients each month. This ensures that my practice isn’t a high-volume operation, but rather a safe space where attentive care and meticulous attention to detail are a given.
From our initial consultation to the presentation of your finished artwork, I’ll guide you every step of the way. What we create here isn’t a run-of-the-mill photo shoot, but a bespoke boutique experience—stylish, exclusive, and meticulously planned down to the last detail.
The ideal time
Based on experience, the best time for maternity portraits is between the 28th and 34th weeks. At this stage, your baby bump is already beautifully visible, while you usually still feel agile and comfortable in your body.
Why these photo shoots are especially close to my heart
I’ve been through two pregnancies myself and didn’t have any professional photos taken during either of them. At the time, I thought there would be plenty of opportunities later on. Today, I know just how irreplaceable that time is.
Maybe that’s exactly why these photo shoots mean so much to me. Because I know how quickly this phase passes. And because I want to give every woman the chance not only to experience it, but also to see it and preserve it forever.
